Quiet and peaceful
A large, well-managed cattle ranch is the northern and western neighbor, and the Finca Amancer Community surrounds the balance of the lot. The 60-meter private entry is shaded by ancient mango trees with fruit maturing in May, June, and July. Wildlife and flowers abound. From January to April, you can swim in Río Naranjo across the street. There is also a creek on site where you can relax and refresh your soul.
Located near a small Tico town
Londres is a safe, quiet Tico pueblo at the foot of the Cordillera de Talamanca, with 9 buses a day to and from Quepos. It has a mini-super, a restaurant and a bar, all within walking distance. Most of the adventure tours take place out here, as this is where the rivers, waterfalls and mountains are. There are many churches as well as a public park, an elementary school and a lighted soccer field.
Prospects for the future
The large lot allows the new owners the option of constructing an “Owners Home” with additional parking and perhaps a pool. In addition, the road from Quepos to the property is an alternative national highway (Ruta 616), set to be paved later in 2015 (updated Feb. 2015). Survey crews and expansion of the ROW are underway.
The yoga space
The 12 x 24 foot yoga floor is above the Hummingbird room and the kitchen in the main house. All of the tin roof has been replaced since 2002. In 2010, the old conventional trusses were replaced with vaulted bamboo, bamboo harvested from the Finca Amanecer community land. All the insulation is rolled Prodex of various thicknesses.

The main house
The facility is laid out in an H pattern. The Master Suite (on the east end) is full block construction, has a kitchen, sitting area, tiled bath and 2 bedrooms, with classic “rosette” tile floors throughout. Across the patio the Mini-Suite offers 2 Queen size rooms with a "Jack n Jill" bath, and large garden view windows. Between the 2 suites, La Casa Vieja offers 3 rooms, a second efficiency kitchen and 3rd bath.
