• Relax off the beaten path, Finca Amanecer (Sunrise Farms) is "a tranquil oasis away from the craziness of Manuel Antonio". (Maria) (only 40 minutes away) It is an organic spice farm  offering the adventurous traveler  an affordable stay in Londres, a typical Tico pueblo.    We offer clean, basic rooms, the dorms share a bath and community room.  We are only 20 minutes east of Quepos, but a world apart.  We welcome pets and can accommodate groups up to 21 people.  Londres  is "adventure central" for Quepos and Manuel Antonio.   Rio Naranjo offers world class III/IV white water rafting, fly fishing, and home to 4 of the horseback riding outfitters, one of the canopy tours, half of the ATV tours and the area hosts a multitude of waterfalls and pristine primary rainforests.   "The best Spring Break ever!"  (Cortney)  Londres (London) has two “mini-supers” a small "bazaar" and several excellent Tico sodas/restaurants.

 

A more serious birder would probably have identified @ least fifty percent more birds-- ones I saw but could not identify. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn, see, and experience so much.

Relax  by the creek,  run the rapids May through November.  Float  or fly fish in Rio Naranjo from Christmas to Easter, or just hang out in a hammock and watch the Fiery-billed Aracari toucans, tanagers and humming birds or Green Iguanas in the trees, there's plenty to enjoy at Finca Amanecer.
